Thanksgiving!

Of course I love to create things for people on their wedding day or for their special event, but it's pretty fun for me to get to make things for my family, sometimes, too. Here's a little peek at our Thanskgiving table last week.

getting the details just right.

 Until a few years ago I was primarily a portrait painter and graphic designer, but in college I took up calligraphy as a hobby. It fell by the wayside until my daughter got married and now I have the most fun mixing ink colors and getting details just right on envelopes instead of canvases. Here are a few of my current projects where I've been able to match the ink used by the printer or match the stationer's font.
