i thought you might like a "tour' of my studio where i create my work. it's a truely magical place with 2 walls of windows, spectatular views and plenty of natural daylight.
the front door was made from old heart pine that we salvaged during the rennovations made to the house. our friend and carpenter, michael welborn, a true artist, built the door on site. it's the first thing i see when i go into work, and it always makes me happy thinking about the wonderful friendship our family developed with him. he is a very special person. it's a wonderful way to start any project when you begin with a positive thought!
originally this was an unfinished area underneath a bedroom, with some serious planning, but with a visionary husband and talented carpenter... it was transformed into this wonderful space! enough! come on in and decide for yourself!
