Further down you will see a more formal type of calligraphy that i have used. But, here is a more casual, playful script that might be used for a bridal luncheon or baby shower! Any color ink or card would do!

Fly Away!

This suite that Erin of Lucky Luxe designed is just wonderful! Check out the envelope! Doesn't it make you want to write a letter to someone?! I am old enough to remember when there was special "par avion" stationary that was the letter and then you folded it a certain way, and voila...it transformed into an envelope as well! And it was on this wonderful light, pale blue paper. Ahhhh!

What a wonderful summer! Although it has been hot, it has been wonderfully cool and delightful in my studio. I have enjoyed working on a wonderful project that I just finished. A special "nod, wink, and thank you" to Erin at Lucky Luxe who continues to have faith in me !

Love the borders on these cards ! The bride provides these lovely cards and table cards for calligraphy. The borders complimented the invitations nicely! She choose a beautiful gold ink from the English company, Windsor and Newton, for the table cards and a rich sepia ink for the escort cards. Stunning!
